Become a Vendor and promote your products on 100 Mile Finds

Follow these steps to create your account now...

Step 1 - Enter your personal details
Tell us your name and how to contact you

Step 2 - Tell us about your products
Please provide a brief description of your products/services, and a link to your website or on-line store and/or upload photos of your products.

Step 3 - Subscribe with PayPal
You will not be charged if your store is not approved. Upon approval, you will be charged a $3 monthly subscription fee We recommend you set up a paypal account before you complete the application process as you will have to re-start the application if the subscription is not completed.

Once approved, we’ll give you the tools to create your own site within the 100 Mile Finds network.
You’ll have the ability to update your own content by logging into the vendor-login area of the site.
This section contains easy-to-use tools for managing your content, uploading pictures and more.

At 100 Mile Finds, it is our mission to help you sell your wares to the local customer. We do this in a variety of different ways. Most obviously, by giving you a presence on the web that targets the local customer and gives you the opportunity to list products with e-commerce for only a small (3.5%) commission fee based on sales only.

How do we spread the word?

We have an extensive social network and we are not afraid to use it. We have an active facebook page, and twitter feed. We also post regularly on our blog and send out regular newsletters to our customers and vendors. We introduce you to our followers when you join the site and will mention any craft shows, sales, or events you are participating in.

We send out press releases featuring select vendors and we subscribe to “reporter” websites who are looking for information that we can provide. We have developed relationships with the press and are always trying to make that work for the site and/or individual vendors. We are working with several product review sites, and we do giveaway contests on our own and in partnership with others. We participate in craft shows, offering vendors the chance to sell their wares at our booth and we are developing our own “market”. We are a source for vendor calls and submissions for shows and sales, and we bring contests and opportunities to our vendors’ attention.

The vendors that reap the most rewards from the site are the ones that get involved. It can be as simple as...

Participate as a vendor at our upcoming 100 Mile Finds market(s)

Starting in July 2011 www.100milefinds.com will be charging all new vendors that apply to be on the site a monthly subscription fee. The fee is $3/month, and will entitle the vendor to a “store” and the opportunity to list 13 products on the site (with optional e-commerce). If you wish to upgrade your subscription to be able to list 43 products, the fee is $8/month.

When you fill out your application you will have to input your PayPal information. The subscription is activated upon application. The first month is free, which allows us time to review your application and respond. You will be charged monthly from the date you signed up on the site. Should you wish to cancel your subscription you may do so at any time and your store will be removed from the site, and the subscription payments will stop.

Once you have created your store (Getting Started Guide) and it has been activated, we will welcome you on Facebook and Twitter and post an introductory blog within your first month on the site
