The Picnic at the Brick Works

Sunday, October 3, 2010

Join Evergreen and Slow Food Toront in a celebration of local, sustainable food. This year, we will take you on a virtual tour of Sountern Ontario's culinary delights - the tastes and flavours of locally grown and harvested food are a reminder that local tourism is not only more environmentally friendly, but also delicious. The food and drink are Slow, so you know that the spotlight will be on local growers, ranchers, fishers and artisans who will be paid fairly for their risk and labour.

The Picnic at the Brick works has been bringing together Slow Food Toronto chefs, Ontario vintners and brewers, and local farmers for the past three years, along with over 1,000 guests. This year, we are excited to host the first Picnic in the transformed Evergreen Brick Works, and we welcome you to explore this  cultural treasure.

Gather your friends and family, and prepare for the tastiest day of the year.

Tickets sell out quickly. DOn't miss this fabulous food event.

Coy Clothes

Hi there. Lisa here. Let's see, while I've been a happy stay-at-home mom for a number of years now, it was high time I found a paying job that I loved too. And, I do love it. Sourcing old ads, writing the text with my fella, Jay,choosing the fabric and the t-shirts and hunting down kooky embroidred patches. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope you enjoy the shirts. Lisa
